Class responses for Jan 19th

This week we talked Golumbia, Kirschenbaum, Gaffield, Berry and others. The class responses include

  1. Omar’s argument that DH actually brings us to bigger questions concerning the nature of the humanities more generally.
  2. Mark’s overview of the readings as a critical introduction to DH.
  3. Sean’s argument that cyber-libertarianism (particularly as Golumbia frames it) forces us to rethink notions of left / right politics & the humanities more generally.

Sean and Mark’s papers are available in the class Google Drive
